Renaissance Reimagined

Renaissance Reimagined

About

This revolutionary exhibition presents 40 contemporary artists who have reimagined iconic Renaissance masterpieces through modern lenses. Using techniques ranging from digital painting to mixed media installations, artists have transformed works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Botticelli into thought-provoking contemporary pieces.

The exhibition explores themes of identity, gender, politics, and social justice through the lens of Renaissance art. Highlights include a reimagined "Mona Lisa" as a modern entrepreneur, "The Creation of Adam" depicted in a corporate boardroom, and "The Birth of Venus" recontextualized as a commentary on environmental activism.

Curated by art historian Dr. Jean-Pierre Dubois, this exhibition bridges five centuries of artistic evolution.
