Be Silent was a comprehensive visual identity project for an ambient music collective releasing their debut album exploring the concept of silence in a noisy world. The visual aesthetic was deeply minimalist, using muted tones, negative space, and subtle textures to evoke the feeling of silence and contemplation. The album cover featured a series of abstract photographs of empty spaces, creating a sense of calm and introspection.
The music videos were shot in locations around the world, capturing moments of stillness in nature and urban environments. The project also included a website design and social media strategy that emphasized the collective's philosophy of finding peace in silence. The album received critical acclaim, with Pitchfork describing it as "visually and sonically transcendent." The visual identity was recognized with an ADC Award for Best Music Visual Design.
